Ramona Crespo-Otero

Ramona Crespo Otero, aged 76, peacefully passed away at Liberty Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 28, 1947, to the late Saturnino Crespo and Blasina Otero in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, Ramona later made New Jersey her home. It was there that she found her soulmate, Angel Sr. Ocasio "Gelin," and they were united in marriage in 1969. Together they raised 1 daughter and 3 sons.

As a mother, Ramona was known for her sense of humor, her outspoken nature, and her unwavering generosity. She believed in giving selflessly, whether it was sharing food, offering a helping hand, or imparting the wisdom that money is not everything. Ramona was always there for her family, standing by their side through thick and thin. She found joy in dancing, and her faith in Jehovah was the cornerstone of her life, as she bestowed blessings in His name. Ramona cherished the importance of self-care and the well-being of her loved ones.

Ramona is survived by 4 children, Sonia Guzmán, Angel Jr. Ocasio, Edwin Ocasio, and Nelson Ocasio. Grandchildren: Yessenia Johnson, Nancy Alfaro, Melissa Guzmán, Stephanie Guzman, Axel Ocasio, Emily Ocasio, Ariana Ocasio, Jacob Ocasio, Christian Almadovar, Tiano Tolentino, Isaiah Ocasio, Destiny Ocasio, Nelson Xavier Ocasio, Aliah Ocasio, Jose Santiago and Luis Santiago. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Jehova Witness Kingdom Hall, 1776 Talmadge Road, in Walthourville, GA, with Elder Thomas Shirley officiating.
