Agaton Casugay Tesch, 69, of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away on March 9, 2026.
Agaton was born in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines, and later made his home in Hinesville, Georgia. Throughout his life, family was deeply important to him. Those closest to him knew that he loved his family very much and, at his core, simply wanted to be understood.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Tesch; his son, Ivan Tesch (Eliza); his sister, Norma Angel (Phillip); his beloved grandchildren, Blake and Jeremy Tesch, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Agaton loved life and was always happy. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, dancing, and singing but his happiest moments were the ones he spent with his grandchildren and family. Agaton’s memory will live on through his family and the moments they shared together. Though he is gone, his family will continue to carry his story.
Visitation services will be held Monday, March 16, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington.
