Charles Alvin “Chuck” Roach, Jr., 64, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 peacefully at his home.
Chuck also known as “Q-Ball” to many was born on July 6, 1956 to Charles, Sr. and Mildred (Holbrook) Roach in Pooler, Georgia. He graduated from Brunswick High, Class of 1975. After graduation Chuck enlisted into the United States Coast Guard. He retired after 21 years of service and for the past 18 years was employed at Liberty Propane. In his spare time Chuck (Q-Ball) enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, traveling, reading (especially anything to do with history), and spending time with family and friends. He was a very outgoing person and loved meeting and making new friends. Chuck enjoyed living life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Vanessa Roach. Chuck will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Amanda Roach; five children, Charles “Charlie” Roach, III, Catherine Peters (Rob), Elizabeth Fields (Coy), Levi Roach and Zachary Roach; step-children, Kelly Wolaver and Thomas Peyton Sikes; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington. Military honors will be rendered at the service. Masks are required to attend the service.
