Christopher Allison Peyton

Christopher Allison Peyton, 64, of Fleming, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Born on May 10, 1961, in Savannah, Georgia, Chris lived a life defined by hard work, bold spirit, and a deep commitment to family. He spent his career in the auto collision industry, proudly running the family business, NACON Auto Collision Center, where he earned a reputation for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Chris was a true thrill seeker at heart. He found joy in racing, fishing, and even skydiving—always chasing the next adventure and living life on his own terms. Those who knew him will remember his fearless nature, his passion for what he loved, and the energy he brought into every room.

He was preceded in death by his Father Mel “Al” Peyton and Mother Aline Peyton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheriese McKnight Peyton; his son, Kyle Peyton, and daughter-in-law, Amber Peyton; his grandchildren, Kaden and Landon Peyton; and his great-granddaughter, Valerie Peyton. Step sisters, Krista Hays Pilon and Melisa Hays LeMoyne and Nephew Peyton Pilon. He is also survived by his nephew, Brandon Hutchinson, and his stepmother, Pennie Peyton, and his mother in law, Melodi McKinight.

Chris’s legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the Hinesville Cemetery on Shaw Road.
