Corby Michael McElwaney

Corby Michael McElwaney, 36, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 12, 2022.

Corby was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 16, 1986 to Ray Lee McElwaney and Dena Smith. He attended Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia and was currently working at Target Distribution Center in Midway. Corby previously worked at Extreme Audio in Hinesville. He enjoyed living life to its fullest and when he wasn’t working you could find him tinkering on his trucks and anything else that needed fixing. Corby will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Corby is survived by his mother, Dena Smith (Joseph); his father, Ray Lee McElwaney; two daughters, Jena and Camy McElwaney; brothers, Mitchell and Steven McElwaney and many other extended family members.

A viewing and a gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 beginning at 6:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington for those who wish to say their final goodbyes to Corby.
