Corey Rashaad Keazer Sr., 40, of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Corey was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 12, 1983, to the late Melvia Robertson Keazer.
Corey attended Bradwell Institute for his secondary school education. Corey loved spending quality time with his family and friends. Corey will be remembered most for his remarkable talent of cutting hair.
Corey leaves to cherish his memory his daughter and four sons, who include Jasmine Nichole Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; Corey R. Keazer, Jr. of Austin, Texas; lmarion Abercrombie, Messiah Stokes, and Azariah Nelson of Hinesville, Georgia.
Corey’s loving Hinesville family includes Michael and Darlene Jones, Tony and Nickie James, Trenton James and Shawn Jones.
Corey leaves behind beloved aunts and uncles who will treasure his memory. His aunts include Gloria Carr (decreased Lawrence Carr, Sr.) of Winter Haven, Florida; Armetta Roberts (Ronnie) of Birmingham, Alabama; Jackie Howell of Winter Haven; and Barbara Ellis (decreased Thomas) of Lakeland, Florida. Corey’s uncles include James Howell of Fishers, Indiana; Robert Howell (Cynthia) of Riverview, Florida; and David Howell of Orlando, Florida. Corey also leaves a host of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
We, Corey’s family, appreciate the outpouring of compassion and empathy shown to us during this time of bereavement. Our special thanks to Andrew Williams of Ludowici, Georgia.
A private family visitation and a virtual memorial ceremony will be scheduled at a later date.
Corey's final resting place will be located at Chris Brown Cemetery in Winter Haven, FL.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be given to their charity of choice.
