Crystal Ann (O’Dell) Hanlin

Crystal Ann O’Dell Hanlin, 52, passed away at her residence in Hinesville at 3:22 am. after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Crystal was a 23 year resident of Hinesville, Georgia. She was a homemaker who raised 3 children. Crystal touched the hearts of everyone she came into contact with. She loved her family with all of her heart and they were her number one priority. One of Crystal’s favorite things to do was spending time with her family at the beach. She also loved her dog, Yeller. Crystal had a love for hauling scrap to be recycled. She loved doing her part in keeping the Earth clean. Crystal’s heart was filled with the Lord Jesus.  She was preceded in death by her father, Norman O’Dell, Sr., her Aunt Barbara Sisco and her Uncle Jimmy Lepera.  Crystal will be dearly missed by her family and those that loved her.

Crystal is survived by her mother, Hazel Lepera of North Port, Florida; her partner of 35 years, Russell Hanlin, Sr.; her 3 children, Russell (Nikita) Hanlin, Jr., Cristina (Juan) Hanlin Williams and Misty (Craig) Hanlin Ochocki; 13 grandchildren; her brothers, Norman, Nicky and Vinny; her sister, Jackie and other extended relatives.

A visitation and gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington.
