Cynthia Eileen Rose Ammons, 62, passed away Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at her home while under the care of hospice.
Cynthia, was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and spent her younger years in Florida. During her teenage years, she moved to Savannah, Georgia, which she called home for most of her life. Later, she moved to Hinesville, Georgia, to live with her beloved daughter, Tiffany.
Cynthia lived a hard life, yet she remained full of joy no matter what challenges life brought her way. She was a loving and devoted Christian, a cherished friend, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Tiffany Ammons Frank Sandstrom; her grandchildren, Isabella Pritchard, Gabriele Pritchard, Serenity Smith, Alice Sandstrom, and Michael Sandstrom; and her bonus grandchildren, Peyton Pritchard, Ellie Pritchard, and Gracie Pritchard. She is also survived by several cousins whom she loved dearly.
Cynthia found great joy in cooking with her grandchildren, gardening, listening to music, and making lasting memories with her family. She was deeply loved by many and will be remembered for her strength, faith, and joyful spirit.
