David Bennett Wall, Jr., 64, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024 while under the care of Hospice Savannah after a short illness.
David was born November 2, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, David, Sr. and Betty Sue Darby Wall. He grew up in the Atlanta area where he attended and graduated from Lakeside High School. David enjoyed sports and played baseball while he was in school. After David graduated he went to work for S & S Tires where he met his soulmate and the love of his life, Lynn “Butchie”. In 1986 David and Lynn moved to Savannah where they both went to work for Hurley Cook and eventually Trey Cook at Savannah Tire. He and Lynn loved to travel, listen to music, and most of all being at their home on the lake where they lived. David was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lynn Wall. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
David is survived by his his brother, Timothy Wall (Trish); nephews, Timothy Chase and Trevor; niece, Cristi; step-children, Ginger Whitten, Laura Yandle, Leeanne Mentzer, Stacie Berg and Matt Destin; best friend, Terry Masters and several extended family members.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with Pastor Tim Byler officiating.
