Dorothy Peller Obituary

Dorothy Rolena "Dot" Peller, 90, of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2025.

Dot was born on November 8, 1934, in Shelby County, Indiana, to the late Elmer Fritz & Lora Pendelton Randolph. Dot lived a life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community. She was the wife of the late Donald A. Peller. Dot and Don made Hinesville their home more than 70 years ago. There, they raised their family and became deeply involved in the local community. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six siblings, daughter-in-law, Maryellen Peller, and son-in-law, Daniel Trujillo.

A dedicated mother, grandmother & great grandmother, Dot is remembered with love by her children: Donald Peller (Sandy) of Deltona, FL; Teddy Peller of Calera, AL; Cindy Trujillo of Collierville, TN; and Danny Peller of Hinesville, GA. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Daniel and Kelly Peller, Katie Shearer, Michelle Stansell, Elizabeth Trujillo, and Danielle and Chris Garrison; as well as five great-grandchildren. Also, her brother Joseph Randolph, sister Penny Everhart, and brother-in-law Wilbur Taylor.

Dot’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was a devoted member of Hinesville First Baptist Church and Wisdom Seekers Sunday School Class. She sang in the church choir and served as a gracious hostess for church social events for many years. Her warmth and hospitality left lasting impressions on all who attended. She was also a proud member of the Eastern Star, Button Gwinnett.

Dot found fulfillment in creative pursuits. An accomplished seamstress with a keen eye for detail, Dot worked in the fabric department at TGY for several years. She enjoyed cooking, painting ceramics and sewing projects that reflected both her skill and her love for family and friends.

For over four decades, Dot assisted Don in managing and maintaining their family-owned trailer park, a testament to their shared commitment and hard work.

Dorothy Rolena "Dot" Peller will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family across generations and for the quiet strength with which she supported those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
