Obituary

Eddie W. Alexander, 64, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Eddie was born October 11, 1957 in Sedan, Kansas to the late Joe and Effie Alexander. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a mechanic by trade. Eddie worked for OMI in Hinesville and was a member of the Georgia Army National Guard MATES on Ft. Stewart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to yard sales. Eddie especially liked tinkering on vehicles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Hency. Eddie will be dearly missed by his family and close friends.  

Eddie is survived by his wife, Dwendolyn Alexander; his son, Eddie Alexander, Jr., three sisters, Mary Moss, Millie Blackwell and Janet Olivarez; three brothers, Michael Alexander, John and Wayne Hency; brothers-in-law, Wendell Carter (Debbie) and Steve Carter and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
