Edward Lee Britting

Edward Lee Britting passed away at his home on Spruce Street in Hinesville, Georgia peacefully on July 10, 2025.

Edward was born on, January 30, 1943 In Seattle, Washington. He loved to bowl in his younger years. He loved playing bingo and watching Atlanta Braves baseball. He served three years in the United States army.

He worked for Seattle Metro and retired in 2005. He moved to Hinesville, Georgia in 2006 to enjoy his retirement.

Edward is, survived by his three sons, Jerry Britting, Larry Britting and Mark Britting .

He is survived by his grandchildren, Kristina Warren, Alisha Britting, Stephanie Dunn, and Austin Britting and seven great grandchildren.

Edward will be laid to rest along with his wife, Grace Ellen Britting, on Tuesday, July 15 2025 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia at 1 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. Military honors will be rendered.
