Errol Wilkins, Sr.

Errol Wilkins, Sr., 69, went to his heavenly home peacefully on Sunday, March 21st, 2021 after his battle with cancer.

Errol was born in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Vivian and Willie Wilkins. Hoobie, the name he was given as a child, spent most of his childhood in Chicago where he attended school.  Hoobie was the oldest of three children. He later moved to Hinesville with his sister, Valerie. Hoobie worked as a caregiver, and was also a coordinator for various groups in and around surrounding counties. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Terrell Wilkins. Hoobie will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Hoobie is survived by his children, Errol Wilkins, Jr., Errin Wilkins and Elisa Wilkins; twin brother, Darryl Wilkins; sister, Valerie Nesbitt and many other extended family members and loved ones.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.

Funeral services will be held on March 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Jackson officiating.
