Fred Hubert Hemmings

Fred Hubert Hemmings, 90, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 after a short illness. 

Fred was born December 21, 1933 in LaGrange, Georgia to his late mother, Bessie Mae Hemmings. He was a graduate of Bradwell Institute, Class of ‘53.  Fred was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea. He was an insurance agent for many years before retiring. Fred was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, and his niece, Myra Evans. 

Fred is survived by his great niece, Karen E. Floyd (Mark) and their children and grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Midway Methodist Church with Pastor Hank Perry officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the graveside.
