Ginger Ward-LeBlue, affectionately known as “Gin” was born December 1, 1973 to Preston Lee Ward and Yong cha “Kim” Ward. She departed this earthly life on November 2, 2024.
Ginger was educated in Killeen, Texas where she attended Ellison High School. She continued her studies at West Central College. Ginger was her parent’s only child, and she was their pride and joy. She was loved by so many. Ginger was a great friend and caretaker to anyone who was in need or considered her a friend. She was sweet, bright, and her smile would brighten up any room. Ginger was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jessie Barnes Ward and Joseph Leroy Ward, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Kang Hang Hui and Kim Yong Jin; aunts, Peggy Richards and Deborah Ward Williams; uncles, Jimmy Lee Ward, Moses Lee Ward, Joseph Leroy Ward, Jr.; cousins, Lisa Deloris Hill, Nanette Ward and Bishop Derrick Ward. Ginger will be missed by so many that loved her.
Ginger leaves memories to cherish to her parents, Preston and Kim Ward; aunts, Mary Ward of Brooklyn, NY, Minnie Battle of Hyattsville, MD, Annie Hill of Wilson, NC and Sandra Ward of Rocky Mount, NC, aunt and uncle, Kyong C. White and Ronald G. White of South Korea, uncles, John F. Ward of Wilson, NC and William Ward of Washington, DC and many cousins and friends whom loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with Rev. John Yun officiating. Burial will follow at the Hinesville Cemetery.
