Gwyneth Cardillo Obituary

Gwyneth Jordan Cardillo, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 12th, 2026, while under the compassionate care of hospice.

Born on December 19th, 1959, at Fort Stewart, Georgia, Gwyneth was the beloved daughter of Stephen F. Jordan and Mary Ellen Tatum Jordan. A Hinesville native, she graduated from Bradwell Institute with the Class of 1978 before continuing her education in nursing at Armstrong State College, where she completed two years of study.

Gwyneth dedicated her professional life to serving others through her work and leadership. She was employed as Program Manager for Magnificus Corporation, a position she faithfully held since March 2009. She was respected by her colleagues for her dedication, professionalism, and caring nature.

Above all, Gwyneth treasured her family. She shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Vincent J. Cardillo IV, building a home filled with love, devotion, and lasting memories. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved most, and her kindness, strength, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her devoted husband, Gwyneth is survived by her daughter, Nicole Burkhart; her son, Vincent J. Cardillo V; her sister, Stephanie H. Wray; her nieces, Jennifer Dombrowski and Cynthia Ann Guizzotti; and her great-nephew, Breighton Alba Dombrowski, along with extended family members and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Gwyneth’s life was one marked by compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
