Hailey “Bear” Danielle Kay Farr, a beloved resident of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away on the morning of April 20th, 2025.
Born on April 21st, 2000, in Georgetown, Texas, Hailey was the daughter of Colleen and Brock Phillips. She grew up in Texas and Colorado before settling in Georgia in 2019.
Hailey’s passion for sports shone through as she excelled in soccer and took taekwondo classes. Her achievements were remarkable, including multiple awards for soccer and tied for first place in a national championship win at the tender age of 11 with her soccer team. Additionally, she was one belt away from becoming a black belt at the same age.
Hailey’s academic prowess was equally impressive. She was homeschooled with her siblings and graduated a year early with a remarkable 3.9 GPA. She was pursuing her degree in photography at Southern New Hampshire University.
Hailey’s artistic talents extended beyond the realm of sports. She was a passionate artist, particularly drawn to photography, drawing, painting, and tattooing. She was an apprentice for a tattoo shop as well and some more of her interests and hobbies included anime, video games, collecting anything related to Harry Potter, and miniature cars.
Hailey had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly flowers like white roses and sunflowers. She found joy in dancing in the kitchen with the kids, taking drives with the windows down and her music playing, and supporting and watching her football team, the Georgia Bulldogs.
As a mother, Hailey was an incredible and devoted parent, with her little boy being her world. She was also an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Hailey was known for her humor, goofiness, and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Hailey was preceded in death is her Father, Brock Phillips, her stepfather, Thomas Lynch, her brother, Liam, her niece, Sophia, her aunt, Pam, and her grandparents, Janice, John, Eve, and Neal.
Hailey is survived by her son, Brock Smith, her mother, Colleen O’Malley Lynch, and her baby sisters, Logan and Ellany Lynch, of Colorado, her sisters, Samantha and her husband, Anthony, of Texas; Megan of Georgia; Shaylynn also of Colorado; Akasha of Texas; and Brit and her wife, Kayla, also of Texas, Her brothers, John and Brock, both of Texas, her nieces and nephews include Braydan, Makayla, Riley, Johnny, Kota Kay, Mathias, Sage, Gabriel, Hyatt, Xavier, Sutton, Willow, and Freya, her aunts and uncles include Denise and her husband, Jerry; Mike and Sara; Tim, Pat, Damon, Brian, Julie, Candace, and Kimberly, her grandmothers, Debra and Linda of Texas, her godparents, Emily and Greg Patterson of Texas, her cousins; Brandon, Cheyenne, Dalton, Allison, Sean, Stacey, Stephanie, Walker, Summer, James, Aiden, Lilly, Blaine, Rebecca, Sydney, Gabbie, Morgan, Collin, Katie, and Caroline.
Hailey’s service and celebration of life will be held in Georgia in June.
