Herminia Cardona Lozano

Herminia Cardona Lozano, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Herminia was born January 21, 1942 in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Pablo and Nemencia (Lozano) Cardona. She spent most of her childhood in Caguas. Later in life Herminia moved to Hinesville, Georgia to be with family and to take care of her grandchildren. She loved to cook and to share what she made with family and friends, it gave her joy to see others enjoy her dishes. Herminia also loved gardening, and every plant she planted flourished and grew from hands that were blessed from God. She was of the Christian Catholic Faith.  Herminia will be missed by many.

Herminia is survived by her children, Maria Ester Escribano, Jose Manuel Escribano, Jorge Escribano, Antonio Escribano, Hector Luis Escribano and Maria S. Alejandro; her grandchildren, Luis Negron, Lisandra Torres, Jessica Torres, Katherine Escribano, Denise Escribano, Maria Isabel Escribano, Jorge Luis Escribano, Ashley Escribano, Krystal Delgado and Odalyz Silva; her one sister, Maria Cristina Lozano and many other loved ones.

Funeral services will held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington.
