Jaquelynn Marie Morey, 26, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, from complications due to asthma.
Jackie was born July 21, 1998, to Charles Bryan Morey and Susan Marie (Vezo) Morey. She lived in Liberty and Long County her whole life. Jackie graduated from Long County High School in 2016. She started doing nails while in high school and opened her own business, Nails by Jaquelynn, 5 years ago. She devoted her life to her family and friends. Jackie loved laughter and was always smiling. She chose to be happy in all situations.
Jackie had one son, Riley Baylor Morey. Jackie was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her son was her number one priority. She would do anything to make sure he was taken care of. Riley was her everything. She always tried to help others and put smiles on their faces. Jackie loved spending time with friends talking and hanging out, doing nails, painting, art, antiquing, fishing and hunting. Like her mother, Jackie loved everyone and wanted everyone to be happy.
Jackie was predeceased in death by her mother, Susan Marie Morey, Maternal Great-Grandparents, Harold and Eleanor Steffen, Paternal Great-Grandfather, Martin Byer, Paternal Great Grandmother, Betty Chance, Grandfather, Rickey Morey and her Papa, Steve Jenkins.
Jackie is survived by her Son, Riley Morey, Father, Charles Bryan Morey, Sister, Emily Paige Irvine (Tyler), Sister, Elizabeth Mae Morey, Sister, Amanda Kelly Morey, significant other, Austin Simmons and his son, Josie, Grandmother, Jane Adams, Grandfather, Mike Adams, Grandmother, Peggy Morey; Uncle Steve (Brittany) Vezo, Aunt Becky (Chris) Eason; Uncle Mike Morey; Great-Grandmother, Shirley Bryer, and many cousins.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 10th, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with the funeral service beginning promptly at 7:00 pm.
