Joshua “Josh” Weitz Gill, Sr., 44, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 after a boating accident in Midway, Georgia.
Josh was born April 13, 1979 in Savannah, Georgia to the late, William Alfred and Regina Miller Gill. He attended school in the Richmond Hill area. After high school Josh went into the construction business. Josh was considered to be one of the best in his trade. He took pride in his work and enjoyed showing the finished product to his friends and family. Josh was an avid outdoorsman and a thrill seeker. He enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, grilling and was considered by many to be a master chef. Josh will be greatly missed and remembered by his family, friends, and many coworkers he met along the way.
Josh is survived by his wife, Kimberly Gill; his children, Joshua Gill, Jr., Noah Gill and Skylar Gill; his sisters, Melanie Bly and Hope Bailey (Donnie) and many extended family members and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home, Flemington, with Pastor Brenda Crawford officiating.
