Judith “Lynn” Denton, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Candler hospital, after complications from surgery, surrounded by her family.
Lynn was born on August 2, 1942 to the late Roy C. and Delvina (Cartier) Harrison. Lynn was a high-school graduate, class of ‘60. After high-school Lynn married the love of her life, David A. Denton. Lynn and David made Liberty County their home in 1972 where they raised their four children. Lynn worked at CPO on Ft. Stewart as a retirement specialist and retired after 25 years of service.
After Lynn retired she spent most of her time doing what she loved best, and that was spending her time with her grandchildren. Family was one of the most important things in Lynn’s life. She attended A New Beginning Church in Ludowici. Lynn enjoyed traveling and she accompanied her husband on many occasions driving across the country. She will be dearly missed by her family and those that loved her. Lynn’s family will cherish their memories, until they all meet again.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 58 years, David A. Denton; daughters, Cindy Woodward (David), Caron Denton (Kevin) and Cherl Futch (David); son, Marc Denton (Kimberly); seven grandchildren, Kenneth Blanton, Jr. (Rose), Jessica Patterson, Nathan Pfaff, Jordan Pieratti, Angel Oldham, Stephenie Denton and Taylor Futch; five great-grandchildren, Destinee Patterson, James Patterson, Killian Malave, Liliana Blanton and Oliver Blanton.
