Kenneth Walker Obituary

Kenneth “Dredds” Walker, age 65 of Ludowici, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2023, at Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Kenneth was born on July 14, 1957, to John and Jessica Walker (Adams) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Charles W. Henry High School, and later attended Murrell Dobbin Vocation School, where he was able to explore his love for cars. Kenneth was known to be a hard worker who held many jobs that led him to do what he loved. He worked as a mechanic for many years, buying and fixing up cars for his friends. He drove a school bus for the City of Philadelphia and was nicknamed “Speedy” by the kids. Kenneth then found his true passion as a truck driver, and he drove until he retired. Following retirement, he migrated to Georgia in 2019 to be with his son and family. He was a man of simplicity. He loved his Corvette, playing pool, and playing video games with his grandchildren. Kenneth spent most of his time enjoying retirement, working on his Corvette, surfing the web, constantly researching, learning, and spreading knowledge with his friends and family.

Kenneth is survived by his ex-wife and close friend, Tonya Walker, his two sons, Kenneth John Walker and his wife Melody Walker, and Gary Gregg; his daughters Shanaya Richmond and her husband Rainey Richmond, and Teshina “JB” Dreuitt; his brother, Stanley Walker; and his grandchildren: Kenneth John Walker, Jr., Keyvon Walker, Kenyon Walker, Keyshawn Walker, Kayden Walker, Kayne Walker, Rainey Dakari Richmond, Savanna Richmond, Omri Richmond, and Elijah Gregg, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
