Kim Marie

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Dr. Kim Marie, whose unique spirit departed this earthly realm on March 18, 2025, at the tender age of 59. 

Born on September 24, 1965, Kim was a beacon of intelligence & strength.

Mother to 5 children, Oma to 4 grandchildren, Daughter to the Late Sharon and Frank Feitz, a steadfast friend, and a masterful practitioner of Chinese Medicine.

Kim slipped away peacefully in the care of her eldest daughter, Tammy; her very last days occupying the serene confines of Savannah Georgia Hospice, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Her final weeks were nothing short of a testament to the resilience that defined her life.

A true healer, Kim wielded her expertise as an acupuncturist, herbalist, and weight loss specialist, with a focus on functional endocrinology. Touching countless lives with her skill and compassion, her patients found in her not merely a practitioner, but a guide who ushered them towards longer, healthier lives; an enduring legacy of care and dedication.

Born in Bronx, New York, Kim’s early years were marked by a nomadic existence, as her father’s business ventures led the family across the breadth of the nation. This peripatetic childhood forged in her a free spirit, undaunted by the many health trials she faced, and left her ever determined to chart her own course. 

Known affectionately as “Willow”—a nod to a beloved character from her favorite novel: Terry Brooks’ The Magic Kingdom of Landover—she embodied the same boundless optimism and zest for life as her namesake.

Kim, or “Willow,” was a luminous presence, her bold character and formidable wisdom leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Though her unyielding nature did not always harmonize with everyone, not a soul could deny the profound impression she left behind—a force of personality as unforgettable for some, as it was transformative for others. 

Called home by the Divine far sooner than we could have foreseen, her absence leaves a void; yet her memory remains a wellspring of inspiration and awe.

She leaves behind her 5 children—Tammy(38yo), Josh(33yo), Tommy(30yo), Luke(29yo), and Kelly(26yo)—and her beautiful, young grandchildren—Aeria(7yo), Wylder(2yo), Jett(1yo), and Edin(11mo).

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal viewing or funeral; Kim desired instead to be held in the hearts of those who knew her, inviting any who wish to honor her with their own private “Celebration of Life,” at the leisure of their individually chosen way.

Kim was deeply admired by many, and her departure grieves us profoundly. The world, largely unaware of the magnitude of this loss, cannot fully grasp the retrial of a mind so rich with wisdom and insight. 

May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit abiding forevermore.
