Mark Steven Kent

Mark Steven Kent, 69, went home Sunday, August 18, 2024 at home with his wife by his side. 

Mark was born January 14, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late, Bruce A. Kent and Dorothy Sinkler Kent. He grew up and attended schools in the Michigan area. After high school graduation Mark went to college at The University of Oklahoma where he graduated and started his career with the Department of Human Services with the Child Endangerment and Enforcement. Marks greatest joys in life were his family who adored him as much as he loved and adored them. He was a member of Fleming Baptist Church. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Daniel Kent. He will be greatly missed by his family, church family, and many friends he made along the way.

Mark is survived by his wife, Jamie Kent; six children; 14 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Fleming Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Joshua Parker officiating.
