Marlene Maria Gordon

Marlene Maria Gordon, 74, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Memorial Health University in Savannah.

Marlene was born April 1, 1947 in Austria. She had lived in Liberty County since 1980 having moved here from Germany. Marlene was a manager for over 15 years at the Huddle House. She loved keeping children at her home, she also loved cooking and watching television.  Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Erwin Gordon, Sr.  She will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Renate and Wayne Hutchison of Hinesville; son and his finance’, Richard Gordon, Jr. and Amanda Davis of Hinesville; brother, Erich Kiessling of Germany and grandson, Austin Hutchison of Hinesville.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Timothy Byler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Hinesville Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Dennis Rauch, III, Calvin Driver, Tim Belcher, Robert Harrison and Richard Gordon, Jr.
