Martha Leigh Eller (Way), age 88, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord Jesus on August 22, 2022.
Martha was a native of Riceboro, Georgia and her family was one of the first 38 original families to settle Midway in 1738. Her southern roots run as deep as her unfailing love for everyone she influenced. She is preceeded in death by her husband the Reverend Ray Eller, her son Tombo Eller, and her son Danny Eller.
In life, Martha was an unconditionally compassionate person. Her love extended throughout the lives of her beloved husband Ray, each of her children, Bobbie, Thomas (Tombo), Daniel (Danny), Laurie, James, Adam, and Andrew; and she held the hearts of all 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was the pillar of strength for her home. She spent her life selflessly serving her family and others. As a pastor’s wife, there are countless lives that have been touched by her incredible testimony, her patient prayers and her helping hands.
Martha was succeeded in life by her children Bobbie Eller, Laurie Harvill, James Eller, Adam Eller and Andrew Eller. Her legacy of love will always be a reminder of the way Jesus loves and will forever be in our hearts.
Pallbearers: Andrew Eller, Paden Eller, Benjamin Eller, Luke Eller, Miles Eason, Paul Harvill and Logan Avant.
