Maureen Anne Bulnes, 55, passed on to her final resting place on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Maureen was born on February 25, 1967, to the late Leonard Eugene Franklin and Alice Theresa (Larkin) Franklin in Astoria, New York. She grew up in Astoria and was a graduate of St. John’s Preparatory High School, Class of ‘85. Maureen cherished being with her family and her pets. She was a woman who found happiness in many roles, but her most treasured was being a mother to her 3 children, who were her greatest joy. She was a very strong spiritual woman who found joy in the universe. Maureen will be extremely missed by all of the lives she touched.
Maureen is survived by her 3 children, Joseph R. Bulnes, Matthew L. Bulnes (Caitlyn) and Gillian A. Bulnes; 3 siblings, Jennifer Franklin, Jeannine Celiberti and Raymond J. Franklin; 5 nieces and nephews, Lauren Staats, Amanda Franklin, Jake Mecca, Jordan Mecca and Emmanuelle Orbe and sisters-in-law, Blanche Orbe and Rosella Franklin.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington with Rev. Robert Long officiating. Burial will be private.
