Evangelist Melinda Jackson was born July 20, 1963, to Sarah Holder nee Jackson (predeceased) and Melvin Holder. On March 2, 2025, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born and raised in Adrian GA and attended Adrian High School. Melinda later relocated to Hinesville, GA where she made a life for herself and children. There she gained many friends through her involvement in ministry. She influenced many lives as she served in obedience to the Lord. Melinda ministered as an evangelist and would pray for others wherever the spirit led her whether in church, the local grocery store or on a street corner. She also operated in the prophetic where she often prophesied the word of God. Melinda was surrounded by many awesome women and men of God within her extended church family.
Throughout her life, she was an avid caregiver for others. Melinda was a joy to be around and brought many smiles and laughter to those in her presence. She truly loved the Lord and spent most of her life in service to Him. Melinda leaves behind countless family members and friends to mourn her transition yet celebrate her life’s journey.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with a visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
