Michelle Jean Wells, 70, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Michelle was born July 21, 1953 to the late, Elmer Krebs and Marie Barron Skymba. Although Michelle was born in Pennsylvania she made Liberty County her home where she raised her two daughters. She met the love of her life, Allen Clenton Wells “Sonny” and they were married on September 12, 1996. Her union with Sonny brought to their marriage his three children, which Michelle immediately began to love as if they were her own.
Michelle was a very nurturing and caring mother and all of her children meant the world to her, she was proud of them all. Family meant everything to Michelle, she loved baking for them and they enjoyed everything she made.
Michelle’s kind and loving spirit attracted many of the people she met, and some became some of her best friends. Keeping her yard in impeccable shape was one of Michelle’s many hobbies, or as some might even call it an obsession. Needless to say her yard always looked manicured and beautiful. Michelle was a very selfless person and her family and friends could always count on her no matter what. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sonny Wells; son, Allen “Charlie” Wells, granddaughter, Jessica Ann Sneed, and great-granddaughter, Emma Ann Sneed. Michelle will be dearly missed by her family and her many close friends.
Michelle is survived by children, Cheryl Trivette (Tim), Chrissy Crystal (Wes), Clenton Wells (Becky), Karen Kennedy (James) and Sandy Wells; grandchildren, Lauren Trivette (Addison), Jordan Trivette, Darienne Breazeale, Evan Crystal, Allen Crystal, Clenton Wells (Ashley), Stephen Caleb Wells (Taylor), Tyler Sneed (Kaleigh), James Kennedy (Trace), Kaiden Kennedy, Dalton Kennedy, Paislee Kennedy, Sunnee Kennedy, Joshua Wells, Miranda Wells and Darah Wells; great-grandchildren, Coleson Chadwick, Remington Wells, Ryan Wells, Tripp Wells, Scarlett Ratliff and many dear friends she considered family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church in Ludowici with Pastor Terry D. Sellars officiating.
