Mike Johns “Mike’s Bikes”

Mike Johns, 73, took his last ride into the sunset Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Mike was born November 5, 1951 in Live Oak, Florida to the late Maxie and Dorothy Johns. He grew up in Florida where he met and married the love of his life, Pamela. Together they traveled the United States before settling in Ludowici, Georgia. Mike was a very skilled Harley mechanic. He and Pam owned and operated “Mike’s Bikes” in Long County. Mike enjoyed gardening, hiking, fishing, and was a master craftsman especially working with wood. He never met a stranger and every person he came in contact with felt inspired and knew they made a friend for life. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, son, Phillip Johns, two brothers, Wayne and Phillip Johns, and nephew, Gary Johns. Mike will be greatly missed by so many people who loved him and who were blessed to be in his life. 

Mike is survived by his wife, Pamela Johns of Long County; daughter, Jennifer Johns; son, Timothy Johns; 4 grandchildren, Harlie, Timothy, Katlyn and Michelle, 1 great-grandchild, Zakai;  and many other extended family members and friends that are family. 

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm at “Mike’s Bikes” in Long County.
