Mohammad “Mo” Dadkhah

May 24, 1953 ~ January 20, 2021 (age 67)


Mohammad “Mo” Dadkhah, 67, passed away on January 20, 2021 after a sudden illness.

Mo was born on May 24, 1953 in Tiran, Iran to parents, Hassan Dadkhah and Khavar Falahati. He attended school in Iran where he went to classes at night and worked during the day.  Mo came to the United States when he was 23 years old on a student visa with little money and little support. He came from a poor and uneducated family and wanted to make a better life for himself and his family. Mo came to America and learned how to speak the language of a new country. Mo worked at night and studied during the day at A & M University in Alabama, where he pursued and obtained his master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus in Urban Planning. While working, going to college at night, and raising a family. He also taught as an assistant professor at the university.  After college Mo began his career with the Army Corp of Engineers.

Mo was part of the team that built the fence around Ft. Stewart, a military installation in Southeastern Georgia. He also served two years as a project manager in Iraq rebuilding the infrastructure after the war.  Mo was always willing to help anyone that had a need, he welcomed everyone as a friend. Mo was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Armon Shane Dadkhah.  He will be dearly missed by his family, co-workers and friends.

Mo leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Rohangiz; son, Brian Dadkhah, son, Armon Shawn Dadkhah, daughter, Sheiva Lovely Dadkhah and husband, Derek Fridman, son, Arya Dadkhah; grandchildren, Arshon Dadkhah, Leila Fridman and Avah Fridman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington.  Burial will be in the Hinesville Cemetery.
