Omar DeJesus Garcia

Omar De Jesus Garcia, 59, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Emory University Hospital while under Hospice Care in Atlanta, Georgia.

Omar was born on July 15, 1963 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to the late Oscar Armando Garcia Sr. and Margarita Lopez. In his early teens, he immigrated with his parents to the United States and settled in Maryland where he attended schools and learned English.  Omar graduated from college and worked as an Information Technology Specialist  for the Internal Revenue Service  until his passing.  Omar was a resident of Hinesville since 2019. He leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Ana M. Garcia.  

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 12pm at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 399 Woodland Dr., Hinesville, Georgia 31313.
