Pamela Sue McDonald, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.
Pamela was born December 14, 1954 in Watertown, New York to parents, Roland Wright and Georgia Merritt Wright. She grew up in Watertown and attended schools there. Pamela met and married the love of her life, Willie James McDonald on August 4, 1979. The McDonald’s and their daughter, Heather, moved to and made their home in Hinesville, Georgia in 1986. Pamela worked on Ft. Stewart for the military school system. She enjoyed going fishing with her husband in her spare time. Pamela’s world revolved around her great grandson and her grandson, they meant the world to her. When in better health, Pamela loved to cook and bake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie. Pamela will be greatly missed by her family.
Pamela leaves behind to cherish her memory her only child, Heather Davis; her grandson, Treshaun Davis (Alasia); her great grandson, Treshaun Davis, Jr.; sisters, Marie Locy (Dan) and Lisa Mazzella (Frank) and Martha Leone (Dan); as well as other extended family members and friends.
Committal services will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 at 3:00 pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville where she will laid to rest with her husband, Willie James McDonald.
