Patricia Mary Peakman Henry, affectionately known as “Pat Pat” and “The Queen,” passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026.
Born on January 23, 1938, in Leeds, England, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late William and Frances Peakman. She possessed a remarkable creative spirit and was a gifted seamstress who spent many years designing and creating theatrical costumes throughout Europe. Her artistic talents extended beyond sewing, as she also enjoyed photography, crafting, scrapbooking, and gardening.
After making Hinesville, Georgia her home, Patricia became a devoted member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. She faithfully served her church family on the Vestry and the Flower Committee, sharing her time, talents, and love with those around her.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clinton “Hank” Henry; her brothers, Jerry and Peter Peakman; and her sister, Susan.
She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews: Gary (Karen) Peakman, Justine Peakman, Nicki (Paul) Brown, Karl Peakman, and Emily (Stephen) Watt. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lily, Rosie, Charlie, Dougie, and Edie, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit.
A private burial service was held at Veterans Memorial Park in Glennville, Georgia, on July 2, 2026.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, artistic gifts, unwavering faith, and the joy she brought to everyone blessed to know her. Her legacy of creativity, service, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
