Patricia Perkins Obituary

Patricia Eve Perkins ("Pat"), 73, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 14th in Ludowici, Ga, following a swift yet arduous battle against metastatic lung cancer.

Pat was born on Sept. 29, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her life she resided in several regions of Georgia, and left an indelible mark in the communities of Marietta, Hinesville, Winder, Brunswick, and more, before eventually settling in Ludowici in 2007. Her warm and adventurous spirit was refreshing, her smile was contagious, and her presence left an unforgettable mark on everyone that knew her. Her love was fierce, loyal and relentless, unparalleled. She was most content when surrounded by family and truly cherished her time with every member.  She had the spirit of a warrior, never hesitating to stand up for what is right, and her heart was firmly planted on the cornerstone of her faith in Jesus. Her interests were as vibrant as her personality, and she found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed painting, travelling, camping, creating decorative greeting cards, playing ukulele and guitar, bike riding, church fellowship, and spoiling her beloved pup Buffy.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband Ronald Perkins, her children Paul Kendrick, Jason Hartley, Renea Clark, and stepdaughter Brandi Perkins, son-in-law Adam, and daughter-in-law Rebecca. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren who were her greatest treasures: Jaydon, Layla, Gabriel, Ethan, Tommy, Skylar, Heaven, Ameris, Shyann, Joshua, and Jacob. Pat's memory will also be forever honored by her brother Craig Tirrell, "brother-cousin" Roger Pendley; stepsisters Era Mae Hefner and Wanda Norton; nephews Craig Jr., James, Kenneth Jr., David, and Matt; sisters-in-law Yvonne, Belinda, Norene, and Nancy; brothers-in-law Jerome, Donnie, Bobby, and Cecil. She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Vaughan, father Cecil Kendrick, stepmother Ellie Mae Kendrick, brother Kenneth Kendrick, sister-in-law Donna Kendrick, stepdaughter Melissa Hunt, stepbrother Billy Thackston, and stepsisters Sherry Paul and Linda Bates.

Funeral services will be held at Connection Church in Hinesville, Ga, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tim Byler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial is to follow immediately after the service at Hinesville Cemetery.

As we say goodbye to Patricia Perkins, we celebrate the life of a woman who was a beacon of love and loyalty. Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family, a testament to the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be forever treasured, as we hold her close in our hearts and remember the light she brought into this world.
