Rebecca (Geiger) Brigdon

Rebecca “Becky” Geiger Brigdon, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, November 21, 2022.

Becky was born November 10, 1935 to parents, Felton and Daisy Geiger. She enjoyed being outdoors and especially liked mowing the yard and tending to her garden. Becky was a member of Dorchester Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a bus driver for 18 years for Savannah Christian Preparatory School.  Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Diones L. “Rabbit” Brigdon, and two brothers. She will be missed by her family and the many friends she made over the years.

Becky is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Brigdon; sister, Rennetta Jacobs; 5 grandchildren, Robert Reed Brigdon, Brooke Logan Brigdon, Jocelyn Brigdon, Abigail Brigdon and Madison Brigdon; special niece, Rhonda; caregiver and friend, Clare Case and several other extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington. Pastor’s Rita Harper and Brenda Crawford will be officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
