Richard “Bull” Bulnes

Richard “Bull” Bulnes, 57, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Jesup, Georgia after a long illness.

Richie was born November 24, 1965 in San Salvador, El Salvador to the late Miguel Bulnes and Paula DeJesus. He spent his early childhood years growing up in California, and his teenage years in Astoria-Queens, New York.  After graduating from high school Richie held various jobs until he decided to enlist into the United States Army.  He met his future wife, Maureen Anne Franklin, whom he married in 1991. Richie served during Desert Storm where he was a heavy diesel mechanic. Richie’s final duty station was Ft. Stewart, Georgia, this is where he and Maureen decided to make their permanent home, and where their 3 children were born and raised. Richie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maureen. Richie will be greatly missed by his family and many friends he has made throughout the years.

Richie is survived by his 3 children, Joseph Bulnes, Matthew Bulnes (Caitlyn) and Gillian Williamson (Dylan); sister, Blanche “Nina” Orbe (Ruben); half siblings. Michael, Jackie, Patricia, Mark, Yolanda, and Bertha; sister-in-law, Jennifer Franklin; brother-in-law, Raymond Franklin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other extended family members.
