Richelle Ann Chisholm, 47, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 29, 2023 after fighting a strong battle with cancer.
Chelly was born February 26, 1976 in Youngstown, Ohio to Ricky Wright and the late Judy Ann Wright. Being part of a military family Chelly traveled all over the country with her family up until moving to the Liberty County area in the early ‘90’s. She was a graduate of Bradwell Institute. After graduation she stayed in the area and went to work with A. C. White moving company. Chelly was a very compassionate and loving person. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a loyal friend to many. Chelly was a God Fearing woman who had strong beliefs and unwavering faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy. She will be dearly missed by her family and all of those who loved her.
Chelly leaves behind to cherish her memory five children, Dazaun “Peaches” Rose, Romello Hicks, Trey Johnson, Tedtric Chisholm and Desiree’ “Big Red” Chisholm; her dad, Ricky Wright (Patricia); husband, Derrick Chisholm; 5 grandchildren, Mykaih Rose, Kaelyn Rose-Fields, Ah’marion Alexander, Kehlani Rose-Fields and Jayden Johnson; her brothers, Ricky Wright, Jr., Horace D. Jones, Jr., Lester Hinton (Linda) and Anthony Tensley; step-sisters, Camisha Barton, Tyneeka Wright and step-brother, Dontrell Wright; special friends, Tawaki Nails, Trina Smith, Latoya Knox and Jennifer Golden; 3 god children; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
Visitation and viewing services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Sherry Ferrell officiating.
