Robert William Manker

Robert William Manker, 66, of Midway, Georgia, passed away on June 14, 2026.

Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 10, 1960, to Doris and Robert Manker. He was a beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend. His life was defined by his strength, knowledge, devotion to his family, bravery, and, most of all, his kindness and brilliant mind.

In his early years, he attended Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Fort Hamilton High School. He was a skilled CNC machinist for 35 years.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Melody Manker; his devoted son, Ronald Lash Jr.; his cherished daughters, Tamara Ann Lash and Serena Howze; 12 cherished grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving sister, Nancy Logan of Delaware.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Manker, and his mother, Doris Ann Peeler Manker.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington. The family wishes to thank the Suncare Hospice team of Rincon, Georgia, for their compassionate and attentive care, as well as the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home staff for their kindness and assistance in coordinating Robert's Celebration of Life service.

Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering for family and close friends in Midway.

Robert will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
