Robert “Mr. Bob” William Kepner, 89, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 after a short illness at Oceanside Health and Rehab on Tybee Island.
Mr. Bob was born August 23, 1932 to the late Edward F. and Olive Bellamy Kepner in Lyndonville, New York. He was from a large family and he worked as a farmer in New York as a manager of an orchard and cattle farm and he also drove trucks. He moved to the Liberty County area in the late ‘70’s and worked as a truck driver and as a mechanic/boat painter for Buck’s Outboard. Mr. Bob was an avid craftsman who excelled in woodworking. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death his parents and two children. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Kepner of Hinesville; his son, Robert “Bobby” Kepner of New York.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating. Burial will be in the Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that remembrances can be made to the Gum Branch Baptist Church Building fund.
