Rochelle Catherine (Ragland) Athill

Rochelle Catherine Athill, 63, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Metter, Georgia.

Rochelle was born to Geraldine Ragland and the late, Robert Ragland on March 22, 1961 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  She attended Atlantic City Public Schools from elementary until high school. Rochelle was a graduate of Atlantic City High School’s class of 1979. She was employed at the Claridge Casino from 1979 until 2004. She was well known for getting the party started at all events by adding her positive vibes and energy to any room. Rochelle loved to dance, listen to her old school music, watching her favorite tv shows, and doing crossword puzzles. Rochelle was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ragland and her brother, Micheal Ragland. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Rochelle leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Geraldine Ragland; daughters, Stephanie Callier (Jerome) and Monique Johnson; grandchildren, Sincere Ragland, Saleem Tolbert-Johnson, Lyenasha Johnson, Jessiah Callier, and Nasir Callier; sisters, Mildred Davila, Robin Ragland and Maria Ragland; sister-in-law, Lisa Gist-Ragland; brothers, Roy Ragland and Robert Ragland, Jr.; brother-in-law, Anthony Davila; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Your voice is one that we will always remember. The tones of radiant laughter that brought us together will always echo in our hearts forever. All those moments spent with you will be our everlasting treasures. The love you gave will always be like a bright touch of light imprinted with no ending measure. You are now our new gained Angel which will be our rainbow ribbon in the sky. We will always hope that you will soar above us high.
