Ronald “Ronnie” Mock Obituary

Ronald “Ronnie” Dewey Mock, age 69, passed away on Friday, April 1st, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Ronnie was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 6th, 1952. He had lived in Fleming for the past 43 years. Ronnie was a member of the Gulfstream family for 38 years before retiring back in 2018. Ronnie was an amazing man, he never met a person that he couldn’t be friends with. He loved his wife and kids, especially his grandkids. Ronnie “Papa” loved taking his grandkids fishing, hunting, to the park, to ballgames, and singing on the phone with them. He would take the kids anywhere they wanted to go. Ronnie would do anything he could for anyone. If you needed help in anyway he would find a way to make it happen. Ronnie was the type of person that would give you the shirt off of his back. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tell Mock and Birdie Mock, his brother, Ernest Jr Mock, and his sisters, Iris Shuman and Georgia Prince. Ronnie “Papa” will be greatly missed by his family and friends that loved and cared about him.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Ollie Mock of Fleming; his children, Ronald Mock (Ginger) of Camilla, Billie Joe Blitch (James) of Fleming and Rhonda Mock-Febus (Alex) of Fleming; his 6 grandkids, James Curtis Blitch, Jr., Vada LeeAnne Mock, Ronald Gage Mock, Candice Nicole Blitch, Logan Ryan Febus and Chloe Jase Febus; several nieces and nephews and many adopted kids and grandkids.
