Roxanne Schuchman

On January 20, 2025, Roxanne Schuchman, a devoted wife of 67 years, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home, aged 83.

Roxanne's insatiable curiosity and love for adventure led her to travel the world, explore the depths of the ocean through scuba diving, and ride bicycles over long distances. She was also an avid arts and crafts enthusiast.

Throughout her life, Roxanne demonstrated remarkable versatility in her professional life, having worked in various factories, the food service industry, and real estate. Whenever we told her we loved her, she always told us she loved us more. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Schuchman; her children, Charlotte Zimmerman, Roberta Roberts, and Robert Schuchman Jr.; five grandchildren; David Young, Raymond Sisson, Sara Roberts, Ben Roberts, Hunter Schuchman. Her three great grandchildren, Abigail Roberts, Tanner Schuchman and Reed McCarney.  Her sister, Helen Pries; her sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and Chuck Codkiewicz; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. 

She is now with her grandson Matthew Schuchman.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Delores Richardson and Darlene Clark  for their compassionate care. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia.
