Sandra left her earthly life January 5th, 2025 and went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Sandra was born in Hazlehurst to Mason and Elouise Selph. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Tom Riley, her parents, siblings, Mason Jr., Geraldine, Barbara, Russell and Elizabeth. She is survived by daughters Christi (Jason) Riley, Joy (Lonnie) Teague, son Frank (Elizabeth) Riley, very special granddaughter, Ally, granddaughters Diana, Natalie, great grand kids, and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sandra moved to Hinesville when she was 6 weeks old. She left Hinesville in 1960 and moved to Texas, where she raised her family. She was employed with American Income Life Insurance for 33 years. Sandra moved back to Hinesville in 2013. She always had a passion for serving others and serving the Lord. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and dedicated many years of her life to ministry.
The family would like express their gratitude for the staff at Coastal Manor Nursing Home and the staff at Hospice of South Georgia for all the love and care shown to Sandra and her family.
Visitation services will be held Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Westside Baptist Church in Hinesville with Pastor Tony Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
