Sandra “Sandy” Kay Bowers

Sandra Kay Bowers (Sandy), 67, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2024 after a brief illness.

Even though Sandy’s illness took her away from this world, her loving heart and joyous personality left a smile on all that knew her. Sandy was born in Fort Richardson, Alaska, on September 30, 1957.  She was a 60+ years resident of the Hinesville/Richmond Hill area.  She was a 1976 graduate of Bradwell Institute High School.  Sandy retired from Coastal Utilities Telecommunications Company after 35+ years of employment.  Since her retirement she worked part time at Richmond Hill Pharmacy where she became a co-worker and friend to many in the local area.

Sandy is survived by the pride and joy of her life, her daughter, Elizabeth Bowers D’Alto (Tyler), sister, Karen Taylor (Danny), Brother, Charlie Bowers (Bonnie), a special niece, Stephanie and several other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
