Sheryl Lynn Barton

Sheryl Lynn Barton, 68, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at Riverview Health & Rehabilitation in Savannah, Georgia.

Sheryl was born October 1, 1956 in California to parents, Roland and Shirley DuBois. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Sheryl also had a deep affection for animals of any kind. She worked with many animal rescue organizations over the years and she fostered many dogs until she found their forever homes. Sheryl enjoyed being outdoors and was one with nature. Sheryl also liked to garden and grow different varieties of plants and flowers. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Sheryl is survived by her parents, Roland and Shirley DuBois; sisters, Lorretta LaFave and LaVerna DuBois; sons, James Tisdel and Kim Tisdel; grandchildren, James N. Tisdel, Damien J. Tisdel, Marianna L. Tisdel, Lowell H. Tisdel and Douglas L. Tisdel; and many extended family members and friends.
