Song S Branson

Song S. Branson, 77, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Memorial Medical Health in Savannah while under the care of hospice.

Song was born on March 25, 1948 in South Korea. She met and married the love of her life, Samuel “Sammy” Glenn Branson and they remained married for over 30 years until his untimely death in 2011. Song was heartbroken by Sammy’s death yet she remained strong as long as she could but her heart was broken beyond repair.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Dorchester Cemetery on Islands Highway in Midway with Rev. Robert Long officiating. Song will finally be reunited and beside her husband once again. 

Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home & Crematory will be handing the arrangements.
