Timothy “Tim” Miles

Timothy "Tim" Miles, 71, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, after a hard-fought illness at MUSC Health in South Carolina.

Born on November 30, 1954, in Savannah, Georgia, Tim was the son of Fonnie Miles and Mary Clark Miles. Tim was a graduate of Effingham County High School. He worked for over 50 years in the Well Drilling/Water Supply Service Industry for the whole southeast. Tim was a long time member of the Church of God, A Worldwide  Association (COGWA). He resided in Aiken, South Carolina with his beloved wife, Connie. Tim enjoyed attending church services and spending time with family and friends. He also liked playing guitars and telling jokes, but most of all Tim enjoyed spending time with his wife, Connie. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Fonnie and Mary, his brothers, Fonnie Eugene Miles, Jr., Donald Miles, and Stephen Miles, and sister, Kathleen Warenzak. Tim will be greatly missed by his wife and those that loved him. 

Tim is survived by wife, Connie Miles; his sisters, Carolyn Mattingly, Frances Tindor, Sharon Stotz (Jon) and Esther Ferrell; many beloved nieces and nephews, beloved friends, and extended family members. 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that remembrances be made to Church of God, A Worldwide Association, P. O. Box 731480, Dallas, Texas 75373-1480 in memory of Tim Miles.

Pallbearers: Mr. Andre Conquest, Mr. Jody Baton, Mr. Daniel Chambers, Mr. Noah Barton, Mr. Evan Ferrell and Mr. Zach Story.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery in Fleming.

For those that will be unable to attend Tim’s service the funeral home will be live-streaming through their funeral home’s Facebook page.
