Tyler Anthony Coon
On Wednesday November 16th, 2022, Loving Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew and Friend to so many passed away at the age of 24.
Born on March 22, 1998 at Camp LeJuene North Carolina to Jonathan and Koral Coon and brother Joshua Coon.
Tyler worked construction with his brother Josh, had an extreme passion for all things Star Wars and an immense passion for adventure.
Tyler loved spending time with his family and friends, going to music festivals, being outdoors and was always willing to try something new or share his passions with everyone.
Tyler was a member of Stone Mountain Climbing Gym in Atlanta where he honed his love of rock climbing while growing his beautiful friend group into a beautiful family that would spend all of their available time climbing and planning trips together. His amazing personality quickly drew people to him, and his passions were contagious.
Tyler loved video games and would spend hours playing with friends and family. He had favorites that he would play tirelessly with each group.
Tyler never let anyone feel left out. He would seek out people and bond quickly always making people feel heard, wanted, needed and loved. He had a tremendous gift for making friends everywhere and a kind spirit with unwavering love for all.
Tyler is survived by his devoted parents, Jonathan and Koral Coon, dedicated and guiding brother Joshua Coon, Uncle Jason wife Kimberly Stutz of Burkburnett Texas, Michael Coon of Yuma Arizona, Phillip Coon and wife Tara of San Diego California, T. J. Stutz of Kileen Texas, Christopher Stutz of Cedar City Utah, Nick Smith and wife Jessica of Darshofen Germany, Grandparents Joella and Paul Smith of Tyler Texas, Gregory B. Coon of San Diego California and countless cousins, family and friends across the world.
His light will shine for all eternity.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation at the funeral home.
