Vickie Jo Henson

Vickie Jo Henson, 60, passed away Wednesday, September 10th, 2025 at home with family by her side while under the care of hospice. 

Vickie was born July 3rd, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late, Charles Henson and Rachel Franks Henson. She was a graduate of Bradwell Institute, Class of ‘82. After graduation Vickie enrolled at Armstrong College for 4 years where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree. Vickie worked for the Liberty County DFCS for 28 years before her retirement. She was an avid reader who enjoyed trivia games and crossword puzzles. Vickie’s favorite show was Jeopardy. She was devoted to her family and would do anything for anyone who needed her help, she was all heart. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jessica Rosengard. 

Vickie is survived by sisters, Sandra Wild and Jeanie Young; step-father, Paul L. Smith; nieces, Casey Wild and Da’Cresha Williford; nephews, Shane Young and Jason Rosengard. 

A memorial service will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington with Chaplain John Daughtry officiating.
A visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home.
